About

Thank you for joining me on my farm page! I'll share a little about me and why goats became a part of my farm.

Mission

My mission is to offer you safe & healthy products right off the farm. I provide premium grass fed chevon (goat meat), by utilizing regenerative land management and sustainable livestock management to insure the best quality products for you.

It has been a secret for far to long that grass fed animals give higher quality nutrients, and are superior in health benefits compared to grain fed options. Grain diets dilute the benefits & disrupt the animals natural digestive process. Grain also adds unnecessary additives to our food. Lets take back the privilege of knowing what we place on our tables!

A Little Insite:

If you want an impressive menu option for your quest, or to treat yourself, chevon (goat meat) is the delicacy to try. My goats are %100 grass fed & finished, born & raised on pasture. Chevon is a lean meat that has many health benefits superior to other meat options. It is high in protein, but much lower in calories, cholesterol, and fats compared to beef, chicken, pork, or lamb. It's a great source of essential nutrients such as iron, potassium, B12, Vitamins A, D, & E, Thiamine, and zinc, just to name a few. Chevon is such an underrated food source in the USA.

The secret to chevon is that you can use it just like beef! If you can use beef in a recipe, you can substitute it with chevon. Just keep in mind that it is lean, so you should marinate it, and/or cook it a little slower. You can get creative with marinades as well, such as beer and lemon or any of your favorites, just be sure to cook steaks, chops, or roast to 145 degrees F and ground chevon to 160 degrees F.

(For refence on taste, lamb is sweeter than deer, chevon is sweeter than lamb, but chevon is not as sweet as beef.)
